Covid-19/Respiratory Infection Measures

In order to best protect our community and staff members, we have implemented several risk reduction and social distancing measures:

You will be asked a few questions when booking and checking in for your appointment according to the RACGP triage and screening standards.
If you have cold and flu symptoms, you can organize a telephone appointment initially. For in person appointments, please organize a COVID-19 swab, or a RAT test on the day of your appointment. Patients with a negative COVID-19 test can attend the practice but we require a mask to be worn to minimise illness spreading to your doctor and other patients.

Telephone consultations are available. Patients with a medicare card who have seen one of our doctors for a face-to-face appointment in the last 12 months. For further information you can speak to one of our friendly receptionist staff.

If you have any of the following symptoms you may require a COVID-19 test or RAT test:

Cough
Sore throat
Fever
Difficulty breathing

Patients of our practice have the right to access their personal health information under privacy information. On request for access to personal health information, our practice documents each request and endeavours to assist patients in granting access where possible and according to the privacy legislation. ID check is required before access to personal health information.

Feedback 2025 report

Thank you for participating in the questionnaire we recently conducted in order to collect feedback from our patients. We have now completed our analysis of the feedback and would like to share some of the significant findings with you.

Overall, we found that:

• most of our patients are happy with the level of healthcare they receive at our practice

• most of our patients are happy with the service they receive from our administration staff

• there are several ways we can improve the level of healthcare we provide

We are very pleased to report that most patients rated the following aspects of our practice as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’:

• The clinician at my last visit helped me understand my medical condition/s.

• I am able to discuss personal issues that were sensitive

• I was able to get an appointment at a time that suited me

The feedback also indicated areas that we can improve, including:

• our opening hours

• patient waiting time

As a result of the feedback collected from our patients, we are planning to make some changes to improve the services and care we provide. We have arrange staff meeting so admins and clinician are trained to identify appointments that could run overtime. This item is address weekly and shows great improvement for all other doctors. Dr Kwok's list is still underway.
